St. Patrick Day!!!

Hi my Crafty ladies, today in Latinas in America the challenge is St. Patrick Day!!! Let'celebrate. The story of this celebration is that

St. Patrick was a missionary Christian and is known as the patron saint of Ireland , alongside St. Brigid and St. Columba , was a religious preacher and Britain , traditionally considered the pioneer of the Christian religion on the island .

In Spain is a patron of the city of Murcia and its ancient kingdom , because the conquest of these territories was the day of the saint's feast of the year 1452 , after the victory of Christian troops of Juan II of Castile in the Battle of the Alporchones ( Lorca ).  It is also patron of the town of Granada Albuñol because, according to tradition, the holy image appeared on the beach from the wreckage of an Irish ship.

An Irish tradition attributed the feat of ridding the island of snakes . Currently, Ireland is the only region of the British Isles that has no wild snakes because of their separation from Great Britain shortly after the end of the last glaciation .

The Feast of Saint Patrick is celebrated in Ireland, where he is patron, and especially in America. Cada 17 de marzo se organiza en Nueva York un gran desfile por la Quinta Avenida en la que participan multitud de personas vestidas de verde. Every March 17 is organized in New York a big parade down Fifth Avenue involving crowd of people dressed in green.

Patrick had to explain what was once the Holy Trinity. For all to understand a club used as a sample, explaining that the Holy Trinity, like clover, was the same unit but with three different people (one leaf with three leaflets).
